2024 SuperEnduro World Championship round three onboard track preview from Cluj, Romania – Sherco USA’s Cooper Abbott is your guide to a track with huge log obstacles and “scary” finish line jump.

This weekend marks round three of the 2025 World Championship—the mid-point of the season. Billy Bolt firing on all cylinders from the start has been the story of the series so far, but Jonny Walker and, just this week, Taddy Blazusiak have also been making headlines.

Jonny’s headline moment came when he missed a golden opportunity to claim at least one moto win last time out in Germany, crashing out of the lead. Adding to the Triumph rider’s woes that weekend, he suffered a dislocated shoulder and a DNF. Despite this, he somehow still made it onto the podium—but Bolt has already stretched his lead to an impressive 22 points.

That lead is over the surprising second-placed rider, Dominik Olszowy, who has been in outstanding form aboard the new fuel-injected Rieju two-stroke.

Speaking of Polish riders, Taddy Blazusiak broke the internet this week with the news he’s withdrawn from racing the Stark Varg. This was following some poor results, issues he says he has with the bike and an on-track coming together with Tim Apolle in Germany.

In response, Stark has stepped up with a replacement rider: 26-year-old Jordi Sala, who they say has spent more hours testing the Varg than anyone else. A baptism of fire awaits Jordi as he dives straight into the deep end of championship competition!
