Spain’s biggest enduro, Bassella Race 1, is all ready to welcome big names like Josep Garcia, Taddy Blazusiak, Ivan Cervantes, Jonny Walker among the 992 entries.
The Spanish 2020 off road season begins big time this weekend, February 7-9, with the enduro on a grand scale Bassella Race 1 which sees almost 1000 riders ready for three days of racing.
The 11th edition of the event this year will see Josep Garcia aiming to make amends for being pipped to the win last year by Christophe Nambotin. The will be joined by Jaume Betriu who arrives at his home race fresh from being best rookie at the Dakar Rally.
The event is split across three days with the Saturday afternoon fan favourite and drama-filled Xtreme Race attracting Taddy Blazusiak, Alfredo Gomez and Jonny Walker among the many. The Xtreme forms the start order for the Sunday Cross Country race.

Sunday’s main race sees the riders take on a 70km long course around Bassella, North West of Barcelona.
The paddock will include a full commercial area with Alfredo Gomez, Laia Sanz and Jaume Betriu hosting an autograph signing session on Saturday at 1pm.
The Bassella Race starts on Friday with the administrative checks and a sighting lap to follow with the Kids, Classic, Maxitrail races and Xtreme Race on Saturday.
