Fantic has announced the 2025 off-road range – nine models spread across the XE Enduro and XX Motocross ranges see updates to plastics, new radiators for the smaller two-strokes, updated electronic packages and suspension settings.

Fantic’s commitment their racing is unequivocal. They were the most numerous enduro world championship winners of the 2023 season with a sporting commitment of three MX Factory Teams competing in MXGP, as well as in the European MX125 and MX250 classes, with eight official riders. In enduro there are two Factory Teams with seven riders competing in the EnduroGP and Junior world classes.

The Italian manufacturer turbo-charged their status in off-road with two new, homegrown models at the start of this year, the XE300 fuel injected two-stroke and the XEF310 four-stroke. Hitting right at the heart of the enduro market, they were a hit with us too on the new model launch test in January.

Like all good off-road motorcycle manufacturers, Fantic’s racing feeds directly into the production bikes and progress “continues unabated” they say with a 2025 range that has seen “constant improvement and attention to detail”.

It’s the Enduro side of things we’re obviously more interested in and the XE125 , like the XE300 gets a new design front end and new radiators like the 125 MX model. The 2025 range has the XE300 and XEF310 included with new two-tone chrome red graphics, a new mudguard and headlight mask.

Completing the Enduro range, the XEF450 boasts work on the electronics with new engine maps to make the most of the extraordinary power of this mighty 450cc model. To tame the beast a little we hope!

To be clear, Fantic use basic twin spar frame and four-model power units from Japan (Yamaha) but everything else is their own, design and build in the Italian factory including the additional models with their own electronics and mapping etc. including the 300cc fuel injected 2T and 310 4T.

2025 FANTIC ENDURO LINE – FANTIC XE125 MY25

The winning 125cc Enduro bike from Fantic has won three consecutive Youth Enduro World Championships (2021, 2022 and 2023).

Updates for 2025 inlcude a performance boost from a new cooling system with new radiators that increase the heat extraction capacity by 35%, Fantic claim. This makes all the difference on low-speed single tracks that put the engine to the test, especially in summer temperatures they say.

The performance is improved thanks to the partnership with Arrow exhausts, and the Fantic control unit which has seen further updates also.

Ergonomics are updated too on the XE125 which gets hand-me-downs from its big brother, the XE300 which arrived with new shape nose and face from the get-go. The manifolds, mudguard and headlight mask are all new. As is the nine-litre fuel tank is all new for an even slimmer silhouette and specially designed sides to “seamlessly glide and move on the bike”.

FANTIC XE300 MY25

The new XE300 2T powered by the in-house developed Minarelli Euro5, with EFi and electric start has already begun to shine in the E3 class with Albin Norrbin, after the extraordinary success in Junior2 last year with the young Swedish rider.

It’s strongest selling point in this world is that it was developed from the start for enduro with a 300cc engine they claim has the highest performance on the market. It’s a heck of a motor in reality from Minarelli in the slightly old-school chassis and one we rated detailed already in our test.

Highlights include: Indirect dual injector injection, electronic exhaust valve, electric starter and hydraulic clutch, aluminium semi-double cradle frame, Kayaba suspension with a 48mm SSS forks, 10-level traction control and a spec list as standard which you have to buy extra with some manufacturers.

The baby four-stroke Fantic model has the highest numbers of titles in 2023 (five), dominated the Junior World Championship with Jed Etchells and the women‘s class with Jane Daniels. This bike won 11 titles in three years with over 50 victories in total in one year.

If it ain‘t broke don‘t fix it? The 2025 version features updated engine mappings, a new suspension setting, a new headlight and mudguard, which together with the new livery renews the style of our most successful motorbike.

FANTIC XEF310 MY25

“The perfect balance” Fantic say combining the best features of the 250-450 models. Agile, user-friendly and a fun bike to ride, the 310 4T is the one for most people most of the time in enduro.

It’s a fact born out by the number of hours devoted to gaining the best balance between performance and user-friendliness whatever level of rider you are.

If you’re persuaded by racing then Axel Semb currently leads the J2 world championship and Jed Etchells has upgraded to one as he upgraded himself to the senior ranks in the E2 class.

Highlights include a dedicated compression ratio (12.8) suitable for enduro, three dedicated mappings (hard/soft/standard), which can be selected directly with new switches, nine traction control levels, the latest gen frame and chassis (like the 250 and 450 siblings) with an aluminium perimeter frame and Kayaba SSS suspension with dedicated setting, 270mm brake discs on the front end and 245mm on the rear.

It also benefits from Fantic’s WIFICOM as standard which is a complete electronic package to tailor the bike around you for conditions using only your phone.
