GASGAS introduces its 2025 Enduro and Dual-Sport range with new black graphics updates to the swingarm, linkage, shock and rear brake caliper on all five two and four-stroke EC and two ES models, plus the return of the two-stroke EC 125 (fuel injected TBI).

“First things first,” say GASGAS presentation the new model range with the 125 stealing all the limelight. The “totally transformed” EC 125 is built on its motocross sibling platform but homologated for enduro with specific components including a six-speed gearbox, lights, map change switch and the 18” rear wheel.

The eighth-litre small bike returns to the GASGAS Enduro 2025 catalogue which is made up of a total of seven enduro bikes, with three two-stroke models (EC 250 and EC 300, in addition to the new 125cc), and four four-stroke models (EC 250F, EC 350F, EC 450F and EC 500F) that we tested last year in our "In-depth test: GASGAS Enduro 2024 range". Plus two ES dual-sport models available only in North America, the ES 350 and ES 500.

New features focused on the rear end

What’s new apart from the EC 125 in the ‘red bullet’ range for next season? Well, it seems that after the major transformation that the KTM Group enduro models underwent last year and the imperceptible changes to the chassis that the GASGAS Factory Racing EC 350F of Andrea Verona adopted at the beginning of this season, the updates for the GASGAS enduros for 2025 model year have focused on the rear end.

That means a redesign of the linkage system that saves weight and improves the performance of the shock absorber, as well as reinforcing the rear brake caliper in search of greater resistance and revising the swingarm to improve the durability of the chain guide.

As the “budget” option in the KTM Group line-up, this is the model with the more trail focused suspension – open cartridge not closed cartridge forks – and so the change to the rear linkage could be a good move.

Again, having looked closely at Pro Bikes, specifically Wade Young’s Hard Enduro EC 300, we know riders are playing with linkage arms or “dog bones”, to improve feel.

And, as expected, “new and vibrant graphics that distinguish these bikes from any other”, now means black letters to stand out even more against the red of the bodywork.
