First look: Acerbis Airstrike-C – all-new premium off-road helmet
Acerbis “raise the bar” with their new Airstrike-C, a brand new, top-of-the-range, carbon fibre, off-road helmet designed for enduro and motocross marking a turning point in the Bergamo-based company’s clothing and protection line.
Extensive work by the Research and Development department, developed in collaboration with testers and riders, the new Airstrike-C from Acerbis lands with the crucial elements you would expect from this historical manufacturer.
They say the Airstrike-C brings technology, safety, lightness, comfort, and is the new “benchmark for motocross, enduro and supermoto riders of all levels”.
A new generation helmet
The Airstrike-C is in fact a completely new carbon fibre helmet from Acerbis, designed from scratch with a style that blends European and American lines, they say.
Developed as much for performance as functionality, the shape of the shell is designed to keep the goggle strap in place. The wide front aperture means maximum visibility and compatibility with all modern large goggles.
The Airstrike-C is also fully compatible with all modern neck braces, is ECE 2206-certified and comes in two shell sizes to have a fitment range of XS to XXL.

Top-level comfort
Among the details behind the new Acerbis off-road helmet are proud of the low weight at just 1150g ± 50g which makes this one of the lightest ECE 2206-certified helmets on the market.
There’s a secure red Ergal double D-ring closure type, a completely removable, hypoallergenic, breathable and washable lining made with soft-touch fabrics with high sweat absorption capacity.
The cheek pads feature an innovative fastening system that makes them easy to remove, with silicone logos to indicate the release points.
The helmet is also equipped with a Quick Release System for rapid removal in case of emergency.

Acerbis say ventilation is one of the strengths of this helmet, “among the best on the market”, with four front air intakes and six at the rear. The air intakes are secured with screws so they can be easily removed for maintenance and cleaning of the shell.
Internal air circulation is further aided by the introduction of the A.C.S. (Acerbis Comfort System) with the upper part of the padding featuring a series of elastic bands and hexagonal rubber suction cups designed to increase ventilation and fit.

Action camera ready
A uniquely shaped peak presses onto the carbon fibre shell without screws for a minimalist look and a linear surface. The peak can be extended using screw-on visor to further help protect against sun, rain, and mud.
In addition, the central attachment can be replaced with a support (also supplied with the helmet) to accommodate the mounting base for action cameras.
The Airstrike-C comes with a high-quality helmet bag with a side zipper opening and two storage pockets. In addition to the helmet, the bag also contains an accessory kit consisting of an action cam mount, peak extension, mounting and maintenance tools, and spare screws. A crucial addition, we’re sure you will agree, for all off-road riders, professional and amateurs alike, in this helmet designed for performance safety, comfort and style.
Available in white/black, orange/white, white/red, black/yellow, and turquoise, at a retail price of €499.95.
