Bassella Race 2026: Spanish Enduro Festival This Weekend
Enduro stars and fans geared up for Bassella Race 2026 this weekend, the sold out Festival of enduro on February 6-8 will see 1000s gather for races, shows, stands, and a 100% enduro atmosphere with free admission.
Time cannot pass quick enough in winter for us to get back into competition. In Spain any grand social moment is traditionally marked with a festival and in enduro, that festival is this weekend at the Bassella Race 2026.
Stars including EnduroGP World Champion Josep Garcia, Laia Sanz, Taddy Blazusiak, Mario Roman (on the CFMoto in the adventure bike race debut) and Edgar Canet fresh from the Dakar Rally.
From February 6th to 8th, the event every year brings together the best of off-road including paying tribute to the heroes of the Dakar Rally as well as marking the first major taste of competition for many riders in the EnduroGP World Championship, the Spanish National Enduro Championship, and also the SuperEnduro and Hard Enduro series.
A 100% off-road weekend where pros and amateurs share the starting grid, the crowds watch to races and the atmosphere is filled with all that we love from our sport… and all with free admission!
Saturday: Full-on activity, reconnaissance laps… and legends up close
The bikes arrive and the atmosphere kicks off on Friday with administrative checks (from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM) at the Bassella Motorcycle Museum.
Saturday starts at 10:00 AM, the Pro riders will be the first to take to the track for their reconnaissance lap, followed by the Friends and Fans categories, and the rest of the entrants.
While the participants complete their laps and the Pros return to the paddock, the public can enjoy one of Saturday's most anticipated moments: the Meet & Greet with true legends of enduro and rally-raids.
The main brands—KTM, Triumph, Motocard, LS2, and Macbor—will open their tents to bring fans closer to their idols with photos, autographs, and a great atmosphere.

Meet & Greet – Saturday Feb 7:
- 11:45 h – KTM: Josep García, Edgar Canet, Taddy Blazusiak & Josep Pedró
- 12:00 h – Triumph: Iván Cervantes & Albert Martín
- 12:30 h – Motocard: Jaume Betriu & Laia Sanz
- 13:00 h – LS2: Edgar Canet

Non-stop racing and action
As expected, Saturday also brings track action. At 1:45 p.m., the Minikids 50 Exhibition kicks off, followed by the Kids and Classics races, which will warm up the engines before one of this year's biggest new features: the Red Bull JG26 Challenge.

At 3:00 PM, under the iconic arch of the energy drink brand, 26 brave enthusiasts will set off to tackle one of the most extreme sections of the course. While details are still under wraps, it promises to be one of the weekend's most exciting moments.
Trail Race: High-Displacement Motorcycles Take Action
The Trail Race once again brings together a host of top names in the sport, with over 30 registered riders ready to give it their all on high-displacement motorcycles.

Confirmed participants include: Mario Román (new CFMoto ambassador), Kirian Mirabet (Honda Africa Twin), Jordi Quer (KTM Adventure), Bernat Cortès (Husqvarna Norden), Gerard Farrés (Macbor), Marc Truyols and Javi Vega (Kove), Julio López (Aprilia), Toni Povedano (Suzuki), and Guillem Inglés (Rieju), among many others.
This category grows year after year and promises thrills on impressive machines on an enduro course.
Xtreme Race: Saturday's main event
At 4:30 PM comes one of the most anticipated moments of the event: the qualifying heats and the grand final of the Xtreme Race, which will determine the starting order for Sunday.
As every year, the event brings together a truly luxurious lineup with big names from EnduroGP, SuperEnduro and Hard Enduro, all fighting for lucrative prizes… and for the honor of shining in Bassella.

Among the favorites are: Josep García (Red Bull KTM), Antoine Magain (Sherco), Theo Espinasse and Thibault Giraudon (Fantic Racing), Albin Elowson, Alex Puey, Yago Martínez and Jaume Betriu (WPEA), Mario Román (MR74), Alfredo Gómez (Beta), Dominik Olszowy and Èric Miguel (Rieju), Eddie Karlsson and Toby Martyn (Stark), Julio Pando (Beta Trueba), David Riera and Liam Sanjuan (Triumph), Aleix Saumell (Sherco), Jordi Sala (Stark), Eloi Salsench, and many more.
And if that weren't enough, TrialGP rider Jaime Busto, who never misses a party like this, might also make an appearance in the mud. The color of his bike? You'll find out there… and it looks like it won't be the usual colors.
Without a break, everything will continue until 6:30 p.m., the time of the awards ceremony. And to end the day in style: Bassella After Party, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., another new addition this year.
Sunday: Starting Flag, Cross-Country, and Stark Reverse Challenge
The action continues on Sunday, albeit with a touch of mystery. The organisers have yet to confirm the final schedule, access to the paddock, or the starting format, which is traditionally a mass start by category.
It seems they are waiting to see how the weather develops, and those familiar with Bassella know this all too well: at this time of year, if it's not fog, it's frost, and more than once the start has had to be delayed to avoid problems caused by icy patches.
So, we'll have to wait for the final start time for Bassella Race 1, which is currently estimated to be around 10:00 a.m.

But the day doesn't end there. At 1:30 p.m., one of the most intriguing new features of this edition arrives: the Stark Reverse Challenge, a challenge designed to give a twist (literally) to the usual.
What exactly is it? Well… it's still a mystery, but we at Enduro21 will keep you updated as soon as we have more details.
The grand finale will arrive at 3:00 p.m. with the final awards ceremony, and the closing of the commercial area and food trucks at 4:30 p.m. will bring to a close a weekend packed with excitement, motorcycles, mud… and lots and lots of great enduro riding.
