The first round of the 2026 ACU British Enduro Championship takes place this weekend at the home of the EnduroGP of Wales, the Rhayader Motor Club’s Cwmythig Hill.

With tests stretching across the Cwmythig Hill and Saintswell venues – just like the EnduroGP season final in August – round one of the new-look EnduroGB British Enduro Championship promises an impressive start to the season at the Jack Frost Enduro.

Defending his number title, Jamie McCanney arrives at round one free from the shackles of world championship competition but with a weighty list of Championship class riders wanting that British title including Dan Mundell, Jed Etchells, Jack and Harry Edmondson.

Jamie and Triumph Racing teammate Michael Persson set the pace in the ’25 season but McCanney will go it alone this year with his teammate recently taking a bad neck injury and again, unfortunately sidelined.

Entry list for all classes below shows a stacked line-up throughout including Women’s champion Nieve Holmes and EnduroGP Women world No2. Rosie Rowett, both on the comeback trail after surgeries during the off season.

Riders are already on route with track walking on Friday ahead of two points-scoring days, both beginning at 9am. The route consists an approximately 30-mile lap with two tests per lap (Cwmythig and Saintswell).
