2026 European Enduro Championship round one in Hungary belongs to Roland Liska with double victory for Triumph in Tamasi.

The Enduro European Championship officially kicked off on April 25–26 in Tamási, Hungary, launching a new season and bringing together top riders from across the continent for the four-round 2026 season.

The Hungarian round delivered a true test for riders and machines with a varied course and intense schedule that set a high standard for the season. From the opening special tests, competition proved tight across all categories, with minimal time gaps and constant position changes.

Day 1

The opening day was dominated by Hungary’s Roland Liszka (Triumph). The junior rider secured the overall victory with a strong and consistent performance across all special tests, immediately establishing himself as one of the key contenders for the season.

In the E1 category, Italy’s Lorenzo Macoritto (Husqvarna) took the win after a solid ride, while Daniel Mundell (KTM) emerged as the fastest in E2. In E3, Germany’s Luca Fischeder (Sherco) claimed victory, confirming his strong pace on the demanding Hungarian terrain.

The Junior categories also delivered high-level performances, with Liszka doubling up by winning Junior1, while Matyáš Chlum (Sherco) secured victory in Junior2.

In the Youth class, France’s Leo Lavesvre (Fantic) proved to be the rider to beat, finishing ahead of Davide Cabass (Yamaha) after an intense day of racing.

Day 2

The second day saw Roland Liszka once again topping the overall classification with another, completing a perfect weekend in front of his home crowd just as he had 12 months ago.

Behind him, Luca Fischeder and Lorenzo Macoritto fought for the overall podium, while Davide Soreca remained in close contention just outside the top three.

Across the categories, consistency proved decisive once again. Fischeder confirmed his strength in E3, while the battles in E1 and E2 remained tight, with several riders exchanging positions throughout the day.

In the Youth class, Leo Lavesvre (Fantic) repeated his victory, confirming his dominance, ahead of Raphaël Raynaud (Fantic) and Davide Cabass (Yamaha), who once again delivered a strong performance.

Seljeseth Women's class winner

Malene Seljeseth had to work hard to earn both day wins for victory in the Women’s class. Matilda Ahlström was there all weekend, keeping the Norwegian honest through every special test, never letting the gap grow to a point of comfort. What decided it was consistency from Seljeseth.

The other story in the Women's category was Stephanie Bianchi. The Italian finished fifth on Day 1 and came back on Day 2, moving up to third place and showing she’s one to watch as the season develops.
