Dates for the 2022 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship have been announced with nine round series heading to new countries lsrael, Serbia and Canada while some old favourite events like Lagares are dropped next season.

Israel, Serbia and Canada are three countries you don’t usually see on any Enduro World Championship calendar.

The 2022 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship provisional calendar is a spicey one with three new rounds in three new countries including a round one date in Israel – adding to an expected Israeli date in the upcoming SuperEnduro World Championship yet to be announced.

The Minus 400 in the Middle East breaks new ground for World Enduro and replaces the usual May round in Portugal at Extreme XL Lagares which does not feature on the 2022 calendar.

Round two is another new event at the Xross Hard Enduro Rallye in the Serbian. A long-established event, Xross has been running since 2014 and promises remote and technical Hard Enduro terrain similar to Romaniacs.

Fingers crossed next year will also finally see the return of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo in Austria after two years of cancellations due to Covid.

The Abestone Hard Enduro in Tuscany was popular in its inaugural running this year and precedes the iconic Red Bull Romaniacs in July – next year will be the 19th edition of the original Hard Enduro Rallye.

From Romania, the series heads across the Atlantic Ocean to North America for a double header in the USA and Canada: Red Bull TKO in Tennessee and two weeks later to Canada for the Red Bull Outliers in the Badlands of Alberta. The feature race is a multi-lap extreme cross-country event across a rugged wasteland with plenty of near-vertical climbs.

HERO Challenge returns as the penultimate round in mid-September before the series concludes in Spain at Hixpania Hard Enduro in Aguilar de Campoo.

Pushing so hard in 2021 earned us a lot of interest from fans, media and potential event organizers all around the world. With Israel, Serbia and Canada added to an already diverse calendar we aim to strengthen our grip as a true offroad motorcycling World Championship.”
