Betamotor has announced 2025 Roof of Africa winner James Moore in the official AG Racing Team Beta for the Hard Enduro World Championship under team boss Alfredo Gomez.

19-years-old but already making his name known on the international hard enduro scene, James Moore will join the Beta family, open an exciting new chapter in his career after 14 years on a KTM.

Moore will join Felix Bähker, Tom Scales, David Clark and Bevan Prost in the AG Racing Team Beta, the official Hard Enduro squad for the Italian manufacturer led by Alfredo Gomez.

James is one of the emerging stars of World Hard Enduro thanks to impressive results and which culminated in the FIM 2025 Junior Hard Enduro World Champion title.

You could call 2025 his breakout season in world events, including Valleys Hard Enduro, Hixpania, and Getzen Rodeo but highlighted by firstly a fourth place overall at the 2025 Abestone Hard Enduro, his best result in the HEWC World Championship at that point.

Moore followed that up with a world-beating overall victory at the iconic Roof of Africa, one of the toughest and most iconic races in the world, beating Mani Lettenbichler and Billy Bolt in the process.

Backing from Beta South Africa

James’ arrival has also been made possible thanks to Rocksteady (PTY) Ltd, Beta’s distributor in South Africa, which they say is building the brand’s presence in the country and “promoting Hard Enduro through a solid, passionate, and ever-expanding network of riders and enthusiasts.”

Fabrizio Dini – Team Manager Beta Factory Team Enduro: “James is one of the most promising young riders in the world. His results speak for themselves. With his determination, natural talent, and winning mentality, we are confident that he will represent Beta’s colours to the fullest in international competitions.”

Moore also joins former South African National Enduro Champion and seasoned international competitor Travis Teasedale, 2025 Silver class Roof of Africa winner Grant Burton-Durham, and Junior rider Bevan Prost in the Beta South Africa official race team.
