Team USA announces World Trophy line-ups for the 2026 ISDE in Portugal
The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) has announced the U.S. World Trophy and Club teams for the 2026 FIM International Six Days Enduro, which will take place from October 12-17 in Grândola, Portugal, in the Alentejo region.
The 100th edition of the ISDE will feature a strong American presence, with 10 riders across the Trophy teams and 21 Club riders split into seven teams.
Team USA returns to Portugal with good memories. The last time the ISDE was held on Portuguese soil, in Portimão in 2019, the United States won both the World Trophy and Women’s World Trophy, while also finishing runner-up in Junior Trophy. Now the goal is to play a leading role once again in a particularly symbolic edition, as the event celebrates its centenary.
Davis and Baylor strengthen the U.S. World Trophy team
In the World Trophy category, the United States will line up with Johnny Girroir, Dante Oliveira, Grant Davis and Steward Baylor. Girroir and Oliveira return as two of the biggest names in American off-road racing, while Grant Davis steps up to the senior squad after gaining experience in the Junior team. The main news is the return of Steward Baylor to the ISDE, this time as part of the World Trophy team, having previously been a member of the U.S. squad that won the Junior World Trophy in 2016.
The men’s team will be aiming to get back on the top step after recent victories in Portugal in 2019 and Argentina in 2023, where the United States claimed the World Trophy win in San Juan.

“Our World Trophy Team will be a strong contender for sure,” U.S. ISDE Team Manager Antti Kallonen said. “Johnny and Dante return with excellent speed and skill, while Grant moves up to the World Trophy Team and Steward rejoining the squad should provide a big boost in our push for the top step of the podium.”
Jones, Tino and Cleveland bring fresh blood to Junior Trophy
In Junior World Trophy, the AMA has opted for a young team made up of Cooper Jones, Jason Tino and Toby Cleveland. All three arrive with the goal of putting the United States back on the Junior podium, after both the World Trophy and Junior Trophy teams finished fourth in 2025.
“Our Junior Team will also be competitive, even with some new faces,” Kallonen said. “We are strategically bringing in younger, fast riders and developing them for the future over the next several years. Cooper, Toby, and Jason have all demonstrated strong speed here at home, and now the goal is to carry that performance onto the world stage.”
Richards, Steede and Gutish: the winning trio remains unchanged
Where the United States clearly starts as a benchmark is in Women’s World Trophy. The AMA has kept the team unchanged, with Korie Steede, Brandy Richards and Rachel Gutish once again leading the American challenge. It is the same trio that has spearheaded the dominant run of the U.S. women’s team. After winning the last three editions in a row, the target in Portugal will be a fourth consecutive title and another addition to their already impressive ISDE record.

“The Women’s Team will remain unchanged. Brandy, Korie, and Rachel continue to make up a fantastic team, and we are looking forward to defending our title once again,” Kallonen said. “This trio is at the top of their game right now, but we are approaching the race like any other. We know we will need to stay focused through all six days of racing to achieve our goal.”
In addition to the Trophy teams, the AMA has also confirmed the 21 Club riders who will compete in Portugal. The places were decided through the East and West Coast qualifiers, forming seven three-rider teams.
