Italian Enduro Championship: Zach Pichon takes Assoluti title for TM Racing
Consistency proves key as Zach Pichon claims the coveted 2025 Italian Enduro “Assoluti” Championship for the TM Racing team – Andrea Verona rounds out the season with the double win in Sant’Angelo in Vado, rounds nine and 10.
The win in the Friday night prologue in Sant’Angelo in Vado set Andrea Verona up for a perfect weekend. The GASGAS Factory Racing rider had a mechanical and DNF at round one, a result which ultimately cost him dearly as the Italian would go on to record four wins and six podiums across the season.
Meanwhile Zach Pichon has played the consistency game all season and claims a maiden Assoluti overall title, an award much coveted by the Italian enduro teams and manufacturers.
Drama to the final test sees Triumph Italia and Morgan Lesiardo claim third overall for the season.
Day 1
Andrea Verona was the fastest rider in Sant’Angelo in Vado on the 450 GASGAS but needed an impressive comeback after Samuele Bernardini (Honda – Honda Racing Red Moto) held the overall lead early on. Verona fought his way back to the front and held onto the top spot through to the end of the fourth and final lap.
Morgan Lesiardo also faught to overcome his E1 rival Bernadini, setting notable times that earned him second place overall. Right behind him was Zach Pichon, who recovered from a crash in the prologue to deliver a clean performance and claim the day’s overall bronze.
Bernardini and Hamish Macdonald (Sherco – Sherco Factory Racing) completed the top five on day one in Sant’Angelo, a day which saw Theo Espinasse, Albin Norrbin and third-placed overall in the championship, Nathan Watson, all fail to finish.

Day 2
Lesiardo led the overall standings up until midway through the second lap before Verona clicked another gear and went on to claim the victory by six seconds. The Triumph rider finished second overall, just ahead of the newly crowned Italian champion Zach Pichon.
Rounding out the top five were two Junior riders, Kyron Bacon (Kawasaki – MGR – ASI) and Kevin Cristino (Fantic – Team Specia), both delivering a solid final day of racing.
The impressive conclusion to the series saw a number of non-starters on day two – notably Nathan Watson and Hamish Macdonald – plus an unlucky conclusion for Honda RedMoto and Bernadini who had problems in the very last test to gift Lesiardo the E1 title. With all the above combined, third overall for the season goes to Triumph Italia rider, behind Verona second and champion Pichon.
