Hot rider entry list head to free “straight rhythm” street enduro in Newcastle – Red Bull Tyne Ride 2025 – on August 30 – rider entry list confirmed with hometown hero, Billy Bolt alongside Jonny Walker, Hard Enduro World Champion Mani Lettenbichler, legend Taddy Blazusiak, Mitch Brightmore, American Cody Webb, Stark Future’s Eddie Karlsson, plus Red Bull Tyne Ride’s first female competitors, Rosie Rowett and Chloe Richardson.

Organisers of the Red Bull Tyne Ride have announced the full rider line up for the second edition of the dual lane street enduro which returns to Quayside on Saturday, August 30.

A collaboration between Red Bull and five-time FIM SuperEnduro world champion Billy Bolt, Red Bull Tyne Ride is a free to watch event on the riverside in Bolt’s hometown. The race itself is a blend of man-made obstacles laid out in two lanes for riders to rip through side-by-side.

If you’re familiar with the Red Bull Straight Rhythm Supercross-style spectacle in the USA then think that but for enduro bikes on a side-by-side SuperEnduro course.

Quality rider entry list

This year’s rider line-up includes some of the biggest names racing, including one of the most successful riders of all time, Mani Lettenbichler. The KTM rider recently claimed his fourth successive Red Bull Erzbergrodeo title, and his sixth consecutive victory at Red Bull Romaniacs and will face the numbers one and two in the SuperEnduro World Championship in Billy Bolt and Jonny Walker who this year is racing the Triumph and naturally keen to defend his crown following his win last year. First time out on the TF 450 X? Could be for JW22.

New to this year’s lineup, British riders Rosie Rowett and Chloe Richardson are set to become the first female riders to take on the challenge.

Rowett, from Sheffield arrives in form following her debut GP victory at the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship in Wales. SuperEnduro courses are notoriously difficult but credit to the organisers, plus Rosie and Chloe for putting themselves in the mix. “I’m really excited to be involved in Tyne Ride and the opportunity for female riders to get involved in a Red Bull event.”  Says Rowett. “The course looks hard! But I can’t wait to give it a go and challenge myself.”

Rocky Mountain Yamaha USA rider Cody Webb adds to the international flavour this year. The multiple EnduroCross, Hard Enduro and SuperEnduro champion is expected to race the YZ250F four-stroke.

The shootout-style racing format worked incredibly well in the inaugural event in 2024. Among the riders putting on a spectacular show were Mitch Brightmore and Eddie Karlsson. Both already have impressive pedigree in SuperEnduro and Hard Enduro but the Tyne Ride showcased their talents with Mitch pushing Walker all the way in ’24. The pair went head-to-head in the final with Jonny snatching it.

Eddie Karlsson showcased the Stark in ’24 also and characteristically put on a display for the crowds. With a year further development and a season of SuperEnduro – plus a recent Silver class victory at Romaniacs – Eddie will start as one of the favourites.

Red Bull Tyne Ride sees 14 pros and 10 wildcards competing to win over three rounds, before the final head-to-head decider. The course stretches along the Newcastle Quayside, with sections of track such as the boulder garden, log matrix, and Igloo Wall Ride turning point. Riders compete over three runs each round before the head-to-head decider.
