Pro Bike RAW highlights and results from the 2025 Camp Coker GNCC, round four of the Grand National Cross Country season where FMF KTM’s Ben Kelley was strong to the finish to fend off Laim Draper and Grant Davis for the overall victory.

It proved to be an ultra-competitive round four of the 2025 GNCC Racing season at Camp Coker, a venue which is used to seeing some epic battles.

AM Pro Yamaha’s Kailub Russell and Liam Draper headed the field on lap one but Draper got past his teammate and was followed by Ben Kelley, who’s rise back to the top of the box has been a long one through injury.

The pair pulled clear of the field in the sandy South Carolina soil and though Kelley past for the lead on the ground, he had to fend of Draper and Landers KTM XC2 champion, Grant Davis for the whole race.

Davis in fact was leading on corrected time but faded on the last lap after clipping a tree and several subsequent crashes, which allowed Kelley and Draper to pip him for the overall.

Ben Kelley took the win narrowly from Draper on the ground and David on corrected time for his firs twin of the season and with that the points lead:

“I don’t think a comfortable win is going to happen anymore. This is probably the best I have ever rode here, and in the past if I rode like that, I could win by a few minutes. Not a chance anymore! The guys behind me were ripping, but I felt so good and the bike felt so good. I made some aggressive passes at the start there, which were really important. We earned this one, myself and the team, and I am so stoked for everyone that supports me.”

Landers’ defending XC2 Champion Davis kept the riders at the front of the field on their toes throughout the six-lap, three-hour race, bringing his KTM 250 XC-F home for the XC2 Pro 250 Class win and P3 on the podium overall: “I got off to a decent start and just tried to go as fast as I could, honestly.” Says Grant. “I got in tow with the XC1 boys there, tried to chase them down and got close, and ended up third overall. I crashed a few times on the last lap, but overall, I’m pumped on my ride and keen to keep the ball rolling and try to get the overall victory at the next one.”

It was a bittersweet day for the KTM crew with both defending champion Johnny Girroir and Landers KTM WXC race winner Brandy Richards crashing and recording DNF’s – Richards took a hard one (get well soon Brandy), and was injured, while Girroir retired with bike problems following his crash.

Korie sends it for WXC win

WXC Women locked-out the top four in the AM race with Rockstar Husqvarna's Korie Steede taking an overdue victory after a last-lap pass on defending champion, Rachael Archer. Australian GNCC rookie Danielle Macdonald finished third for a maiden podium.

“Man, this one feels good!” commented Steede. “I started super-strong and then I slowly started to fade back once we got into lapped riders... I’m not sure what it was, but I was struggling a lot in the beginning getting around them. I finally reset and started riding well toward the end and closed the gap on [Rachael] Archer. With about one mile to go, I ended up making the pass! I absolutely sent it on the last lap and it paid off, so I an super-stoked on the day.”
