One of Australia’s biggest races, the Hattah Desert Race is to be broadcast live this weekend.

It’s surely a rider’s favourite event in Australia and has a strong history of quality riders taking the trophy home including Toby Price. Daniel Milner won in 2017 but Daniel Sanders will want to make amends for his perennial runners-up position placing of recent years.

Over 400 riders will race the 38km sand track for just over four hours in the Senior race on Sunday. A healthy list of classes brings many to the event over the whole weekend including Juniors who race six laps of a 22.6km (big wheel) and six lap 13.4km (small wheel) Hattah course on Saturday.

The 2018 event will be live streamed with rider tracking and updates right from the Friday night weigh-in, through the Prologue and Saturday races to the main event on Sunday.
