Jack Frost Enduro video action from the heart of Welsh Enduro. Tom Ellwood topped round one of the Rhayader Enduro Super Series (RESS) with victory ahead of Charlie Evans. 

 

After a career best result at the British Sprint Championship a day earlier, Tom Ellwood took his KXF 450 to a clean sweep of test wins in Wales at the Jack Frost Enduro. 

Local rider Charlie Evans from Llanidloes was second with fast test times at the Saint Well special with David Herring falling just two seconds short of Evans’ Yamaha on the tests.

James Dent, who made the long trip down from Cumbria was 4th on the MRS Sherco 250 with Lee Edmondson stepping away from spannering duties for Billy Bolt with fifth place.

Ben Murphy won the Expert class from Jack Cadwallader with Shaun Buchan third. Matthew Harries rode well to win the Clubman class and also take top honours in the all-new Under 19 class for riders on machines under 150cc. Gemma Holtham finished best in the Women’s class.

The next round of the Rhayader Enduro Super Series is April 28, the “King of the Hill Hare ‘n Hounds.
