Results from the 2019 Bassella Race1 two-day Spanish Enduro where Christophe Nambotin has taken the win ahead of Cris Guerrero and Josep Garcia.
Four-time world champion Christophe Nambotin took just over three hours to complete the two laps and 140 kilometre course for overall victory in the 2019 Bassella Race 1. Despite starting from position 15 on the pyramid grid start, the Factory Gas Gas rider led the 10th edition of Bassella from the start.
Nambo finished ahead of Cristóbal Guerrero maintaining a strong record at the early season Spanish event. Manuel Lettenbichler, Johnny Aubert and Josep Garcia all fought hard for third step on the podium, with Garcia finally snatching it after a strong fightback.
Lettenbichler topped the Saturday Xtreme race comfortably ahead of Alfredo Gomez and Pol Tarres.
Miquel Pujol was first Pro Junior, crossing the finish line in 3hrs 53m while the hughely popular ‘Friends’ category (single 70km lap) Miquel García was again the winner. María San Miguel and Jordi Inglés have been the winners of Woman and Classic categories.
