The 2020 International Six Days Enduro will take place during August 31 to September 5 in Italy.
Plans are well underway for the 2020 International Six Days Enduro in Italy with organising Moto Pavia Club and the Italian Motorcycle Federation this week settling dates for the event of August 31 to September 5, 2020.
As we reported previously, the 2020 ISDE was already planned for a September, summer event running but with consideration of the many factors including riders, teams, FIM, land access and indeed fans (of which there should be many in Italy during August and early September) the organisers have brought the dates forward.
“We know how challenging it is to organize a Six Days and make sure that you run the event on the best dates is fundamental both in terms of sport and in terms of welcoming athletes, professionals and enthusiasts,” said the IMF Enduro Committee Coordinator, Franco Gualdi. “To date, the Moto Club organizers have done a great job managing to involve local authorities and authorities. I am certain that by continuing to work together in this direction, the Six Days 2020 will be of a high standard from all points of view.”
“In the numerous meetings we have attended in recent months we have listened to the various proposals - explains Giorgio Bandoli, president of MC Alfieri and member of the Organizing Committee. “In agreement with the IMF, we considered it appropriate to move the event by seven days so as not to overlap with the classic August holiday period which sees the hotel structures already engaged with the usual tourists. We thank the International Motorcycle Federation for having accepted our request and the management of the Voghera-Rivanazzano Terme airport, home of the paddocks, which despite having to modify the schedule of the calendar commitments has granted us this opportunity.”
