Fantic Motor have teased the new model updates coming this July with new engines, chassis components and stricter Euro 5+ emissions all promised.

The new, 2026 Fantic model range of Enduro and Motocross promises “innovations, the result of intense development work led by the company’s R&D and production departments”.

The Italian manufacturer says the new models and those innovations will be revealed in July, with the official presentation of all the technical updates. Production of the new motocross models will also begin in July.

Development is also progressing on the 2026 Enduro range, they say and confirm the entire model lineup will meet with Euro 5+ type approval, mandatory for all 2026 Enduro models. Major updates are planned for some models, Fantic add, including new engines, upgrades to the chassis components and electronics packages.

Since 2020 manufacturers of street bikes wanting to gain type approval for a completely new model of motorcycle for sale in the EU and EFTA (European Free Trade Area), had to meet Euro 5 compliance as well as meeting the other existing standards for type approval.

That excluded off-road bikes until next year, 2026, when new models must also conform although there remain some concessions for competition motorcycles (ABS for example).

Meeting stricter Euro 5 limits than the previous Euro 4 standard, means hitting lower levels of CO, THC, and NOx emissions, plus lower sound levels

This is why we no longer see some models like the big XR and KLR thumper trail bikes sold in Europe.

Fantic will be meeting these standards, like KTM and every manufacture must, from 2026. Fantic’s new models will go into production in September, they say, and will be immediately available through their dealer network.
