First look at the 2026 Fantic motocross two-stroke and four-stroke (XX and XXF) models – new Akrapovic exhausts, Yamaha engine upgrades, and electronics packages and announces new Euro5+ Enduro bikes are expected in September.

New model line-ups are coming at us thick and fast right now with Fantic becoming the latest to put their boot in with their MY26 XX and XXF motocross line-up.

The Veneto-based Italian manufacturer says it continue to make its presence felt in the off-road world, at international competition level and in the showrooms with the street, enduro and this motocross range: four models the XX125 2T, XX250 2T, XXF250 4T, XXF450 4T.

2026 updates

The updates on the four-strokes are Akrapovic exhausts (titanium silencers with stainless steel headers), plus engine updates in the XXF 250 in line with the latest from the donor power plant directly from manufacturing partner, Yamaha (new heads and intake ports), and new electronics package. These bikes have Brembo hydraulic clutches fitted as standard don’t forget.

The two-strokes have fewer changes but get a fresh graphics set and will be in dealers starting mid-September 2025, with the XXF450 and XXF250 expected in November 2025.

The Enduro MY26 lineup, composed of five specialized Euro5+ homologated models (XE125, XE300, XEF250, XEF310, XEF450), will be unveiled in September.

2026 Fantic MX two-stroke XX125 and XX250 in more detail

Fantic’s XX125 is by now a two-time Junior World Champion and reigning EMX125 European Champion. The XX250, meanwhile, is “one of the most successful bikes in Fantic’s recent history”, they say, mainly because the two-stroke fans out there want a 250 smoker which is ready to hit the track straight out the box. The quality suspension, the hydraulic clutch, the new exhaust, and the proven Yamaha engine all make it a solid bet – and something a bit different we would add.

For 2026 both models get updated graphics after bigger updates last year (those were new cooling systems, fuel tanks, shrouds, and side panels).

2026 Fantic XXF250 and XXF450 four-strokes updates in more detail

Boasting multiple all-important holeshots, six podiums, and a historic first moto win, the Fantic four-strokes have made the opposition sit up and take notice this MXGP season.

Riders Glenn Coldenhoff, Andrea Bonacorsi, and Brian Bogers directly feed the development of the 2026 4T range, Fantic tell us.

Those upgrades also include a new standard Akrapovic exhaust systems (titanium silencers with stainless steel headers) on both models to improve power and torque curves.

The XXF450 has updated forged aluminium frame stiffness in the frontal area, they say, to improve rider feedback and feel with the Kayaba SSS forks.

The XXF250 gets the latest updated Yamaha engine which has new intake ports to improve airflow and performance across the rev range. Read more on the Yamaha’s here: https://enduro21.com/en/bikes/latest/first-look-yamaha-s-2025-off-road-range-wr250f-and-yz250fx-updates

The Brembo hydraulic clutch system comes as standard and is paired with an updated clutch spring and a pressure plate which Fantic say has additional lubrication holes, improving reliability. The flywheel also has a little more weight to increase inertia.

GET Traction Control and Launch Control are both standard on the four-stroke models, managed with a handlebar multi-switch. The Athena-GET ST39 ECU is developed by Fantic Racing and transfers directly to the production bikes serves with two selectable maps (Hard, Soft), which are also customisable through the WiGET app on a smartphone.

Full specifications for all models is below. Fantic say the price list will be announced at the end of August.
