Quick look: Hero MotoCorp reveal Dakar Edition 210 Adventure and Vida Dirt.E electric bikes
Hero MotoCorp Unveils Performance Machines: Rally-Ready Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition adventure bike and Dirt.E electric off-road motorcycle models through its brand, Vida.
Hero MotoCorp had a busy stand at the EICMA motorcycle show with many eyes focused on the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition “adventure bike” and a new line of electric models for adults and children labelled Dirt.E.
Engineered with direct input from the Hero MotoSports Team Rally, the new 210 is a bike which they explain is “consumer centric” which to us means usable, rideable but also affordable.
Importantly it should help Hero’s global position or at least help awareness for the massive Indian manufacturer which recently reached a 125-million production milestone.

The new model is designed for a global market and fully compliant with Euro5+ emission standards. Powered by a liquid-cooled, 210cc, DOHC single cylinder engine, the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition promises old-school trail bike skills, a very accessible power unit and three different rider modes.
Hero say it is equipped with fully adjustable, “rally-grade” suspension with 280mm of travel and 270mm ground clearance, which naturally means it will be handy off-road.
Rally Champion DNA
In celebration of its 2024 FIM World Rall-Raid Championship title and recent Dakar Podium finish for Ross Branch, Hero MotoCorp unveiled this bike with the Botswanan at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. The Xpulse 210 carries the Hero Motorsports race teams colours and has Branch’s signature on the special edition model.

VIDA DIRT.E Series: Hero MotoCorp new electric off-roaders
Hero also took the opportunity at EICMA to announce new electric off-road model under its electric brand, VIDA which is a brand-new line of off-road electric motorcycles designed for riders of all ages.

DIRT.E MX7 Racing Concept
The DIRT.E MX7 “Racing Concept” is an adult electric off-road motorcycle falling, we would say, in the lightweight but fun category – of which there were a huge number at this year’s EICMA show.
For us that means it stands to one side of the “real” off-road electric bikes which we know from Stark for example or the Yamaha YE-01 unveiled at the show.
More on that here: First look: Yamaha and Electric Motion team-up for YE-01 motocross model
At time of writing we have no official specifications, prices or availability information from Hero regarding the Dirt.E MX7.

The DIRT.E K3 joins in the new e-bike boom for riders from ages 4 to 10 years
Hero say the DIRT.E K3 series of three bikes give young riders a place to learn to ride in a safe and sustainable way and that the bike honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Concept Award 2025.
The DIRT.E K3 will initially be available in Europe and India.
