Yamaha title sponsor for 2026 Australian Enduro Championship
Yamaha Australia will continue as the title sponsor of the Australian Enduro Championship (AusEnduro) in 2026.
The renewed partnership secures Yamaha’s backing for the championship’s second year under a new format which debuted in 2025 with a fresh focus, including an outright Pro Enduro champion and a dedicated Sportsman class, aligning Australian competition more closely with the global enduro scene.
Yamaha’s continued investment as naming rights partner for 2026 provides vital stability and momentum. This title sponsorship commitment comes on top of Yamaha’s substantial and ongoing support for the riders and teams competing in the championship, from juniors to the elite classes.
Peter Doyle, Motorcycling Australia CEO, welcomed Yamaha’s ongoing support:
“It’s fantastic to have Yamaha return as our title sponsor for the 2026 Australian Enduro Championship. Their recommitment is a powerful endorsement of the new direction and format we introduced last year. This partnership is fundamental to elevating the championship’s stature and ensuring it remains the premier platform for developing world-class enduro talent in Australia.”
Scott Bishop, Yamaha Motorsport Manager, Land Mobility, said:
“Yamaha Motor Australia are elated to continue our association with the Australian Enduro Championship and work with Motorcycling Australia to provide a high-quality racing platform for off-road riders.
“The partnership is over 20 years now and AusEnduro has proven to be a championship that can thrust riders on to the international stage yet still be enjoyed by the casual trail rider and family.
“We look forward to another great season of racing and encourage everyone, regardless of what brand of bike they ride, to get to a round near them and experience some amazing riding in a controlled environment and witness first hand some of the best off-road riders in the world.”
