Alpinestars announce all-new off-road goggle range with five options including youth, wide range of colours, roll-offs and a full catalogue of accessories from the global motorsport brand.

Alpinestars’ move into making off-road goggles might not come as a surprise to anyone watching Pro motocross this season with sponsored athletes developing them in races. But to a wider off-road audience maybe you didn’t see this one coming.

In a bid to finally have us “head-to-toe” in their brand of products, the Alpinestar will now been seen on the goggle straps to compete the gear set.

As you’d expect, the new range is as wide as the straps themselves with four models set to be at different price points plus youth options and a wide range of colours.

The range includes five new models: Alpinestars’ Supertech, Vision 8, Vision 5, Vision 3, and Vision Youth Goggles.

Supertech Goggles Technical Highlights:

• Lens Technology: SUPERTECH Alpinestars Absolute Vision polycarbonate lenses feature a specifically designed geometry that focuses light correctly onto the retina. This ensures zero visual distortion through the lens, avoiding the need for the eye to constantly adjust in order to focus on different objects while looking ahead and changing view angles. The Absolute Vision™ lens features a specially formulated warm-colored tint that minimizes uncomfortable stray flat light, enhancing eye comfort and clarity.
• Expansive Field of View: Offering exceptional peripheral vision, designed to integrate seamlessly with Alpinestars’ ULTRA-WIDE 48 mm Roll-Off system, which is designed to keep the canisters outside of the rider's field of view.
• Supertech Frame Design: The solid outer frame creates a shield against debris and roost. The outer frame is double-injected to a soft, conforming inner frame made from exclusive A-FLEX face-forming material, allowing it to adapt to varying face shapes for an exceptional seal and fit. • 13-Degree Strap Wedge: Positions the 45mm silicone-backed strap perfectly on the helmet, ensuring an even pull on the goggles for the best fit all around.

• Forced-Air Ventilation System and Frame Design: Are strategically positioned to allow air to flow under the goggles and through the 100 PPI vents, ensuring maximum ventilation, reducing fogging, and offering optimal airflow.
• 45mm Buckles: Replace the traditional fold-and-sew system and provide a sleeker, low-profile strap with easy adjustability. The 45mm woven strap with silicone traction ensures everything stays in place whether on the track or trail.

Vision 3 Goggles Technical Highlights:

The Vision 3 Goggles build on the Vision 5’s strengths. The Vision 3 includes the RAM-AIR ventilation system, pliable A-FLEX frame, moisture channel, and two-layer face foam for exceptional comfort. Lightweight and versatile, the goggles use the same lens and tear-offs as the Vision 8 and 5 Goggles.

Vision Youth Goggles Technical Highlights:

The Vision Youth Goggles are full-blown race goggles made specifically for smaller helmets and face shapes. The importance of properly fitting goggles is as critical at a young age as it is for adults. The Vision Youth is essentially a shrunken-down version of the adult-sized goggles that features all of the same design principles and material construction as its bigger siblings all the way down to the lens, just proportionately smaller. Overall, the Vision Youth Goggles are in the same optic performance class as the adult Vision line of goggles but fit younger and/or smaller riders.

• Lens: Polycarbonate, anti-fog, hard-coated lens provides 100% UVA protection. All Vision Youth lenses have tear-off posts for use with tear-offs for racing performance and are available with clear, mirrored, and smoked lenses.
• Frame: Lightweight A-FLEX urethane frame material forms to the face shape for the ultimate in fit. Wind channels are molded into the frame to direct air into the vents for added airflow and as well as to reduce the build-up of condensation. 
• Vent and Face Foam: 100 PPI reticulated vent foam enhances ventilation. The 15mm thick, EO15 face foam with its plush chammy layer provides amazing comfort and fit, plus effective moisture management.
• Goggles Strap: 40mm wide woven strap includes silicone traction control for a secure fit.

No prices are yet known to Enduro21 but the all-new Alpinestars’ goggles and full line of accessories is now available at North American retailers and on Alpinestars’ e-commerce platforms. The retail launch in Europe and Asia is scheduled for the second half of September.
