2025 British Sprint Enduro Championship: Edmondson and Mundell Tong Twisters
Results from rounds three and four of the 2025 ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship at Parkwood Off Road Centre, Tong – Jack Edmondson and Dan Mundell take the spoils as Billy Bolt jumps inside the test tapes.
The 2025 ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship made a switch to Parkwood Off Road Centre, Tong – better known for extreme enduro in the UK – for a two-day, baking-hot weekend of rounds three and four.
The venue brought a change of pace with more technical riding that demanded extra precision, shaking up the usual rhythm of the tests and delivering some eye-catching results – including a guest appearance from Billy Bolt riding his Hard Enduro Husqvarna two-stroke on Saturday.
Times at the top were tight, with small mistakes making a big difference. In the end, round three on Saturday saw the familiar name of Jack Edmondson putting his PAR Homes GASGAS at the top of the timesheets, just four seconds ahead of Jamie McCanney (Triumph Racing), with Daniel Mundell (Triple D Motorsport KTM) in third.
McCanney had been building a lead before a crash on test six handed the advantage to Jack Eddy.
Fourth and fifth went to a pair of Williams – Bolt and Hoare. A mistake from Billy on test five scuppered his chances of beating Mundell to the podium, though his SuperEnduro-style finesse was spectacular to watch on the technical course.
Day 2 Belongs to Dan
Sunday's round four saw Dan Mundell step it up, setting the fastest times on tests three through six to build a lead he could manage through the final loops.
McCanney once again finished second after a nail-biting battle with Jack Edmondson, who rounded out the podium – the two separated by less than a second.
