2025 Getzenrodeo Hard Enduro Results: Billy Bolt blasts to HEWC Rnd 6 Prologue win
Results from the 2025 Getzenrodeo, Hard Enduro World Championship round in Germany – Friday prologue “Super Test” win for Billy Bolt laying down a marker ahead of Mitch Brightmore and Mina Lettenbichler.
Getzenwald was in typical form today, day one of the 2025 24MX Getzenrodeo in Germany, round six. By typical we mean a bit chilly and a bit damp but the well-planned course helped create an awesome atmosphere and spectacle which the quantitiy of German beer being consumed deserved.
The course itself saw riders tackling a shortish loop twice to establish best times and start order for tomorrow. The track mixed the natural terrain with a sprinkling of rocks, roots, a tunnel and constructed obstacles but was essentially like a “Super Test” not unlike what we see in EnduroGP – it’s a good recipe.
Bolt bosses it
Billy Bolt laid down his marker for the weekend with an impressive bit of controlled violence on the factory Husqvarna for the fastest time.
Almost five seconds faster on the clock was the result of classic Billy – let’s not forget this guy has beaten the EnduroGP elite in a Super Test in the past.
That was five seconds ahead of Mitch Brightmore who again shows he is stepping up to the marker and establishing himself as a serious challenger with the factory boys. The X-Grip Racing rider put himself between Bolt and Mani Lettenbichler, who clocked in 7.4s behind Bill.
Bolt takes home a P1 start position tomorrow morning plus a grand or so prize money for his efforts.
The prologue was simply to decide start order for tomorrow’s races: a 2hr GetzenRace in the morning sees all riders battling the course and will have a 3, 2, 1 points system for HEWC riders.
The top 20 riders from that go through to the main, 80-minute plus one lap GetzenChamp race (with top 15 scoring a normal points result 20, 17, 15, 13, etc).
