Video highlights and results from 2025 French Classic Enduro, Le Trefle Lozerien – Josep Garcia enters elite club with victory number four in the 39th edition of the race which also sees Antoine Meo and Stephane Peterhansel racing historic bikes.

The 39th edition of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV delivered its annual mixture of spectacular riding and tests, fierce battles, emotional stories, and perfect weather for this iconic French enduro race.

Arriving as the favourite and with the number one on his bike, Red Bull KTM’s Josep Garcia took day one in style, opening a lead ahead of the French massive entry list. The Spanish world champion took three crashes in tests to start the second day, uncharacteristically letting the French elite back into the fight for the win on a day won overall by Valerian Debaud.

But with three of the five specials on the final day, Garcia claimed his second consecutive victory at the Trèfle — the first rider to do so since Pierre-Alexandre Renet in 2014 – with a comfortable 57 seconds winning margin overall. “It’s an incredible feeling. I feel right at home here,” said the Catalan, now a four-time winner of the event.

  • While debaud dropped the ball on day three, the best of the French riders Hugo Blanjoue delivered a superb final day to claim second overall and earning his first Trèfle podium — 10 years after discovering enduro right here in Mende.
  • It was also a first podium for Julien Roussaly who rode with consistency and determination throughout the weekend. At just 25, the Sherco rider reached a long-awaited milestone.
  • Valerian Debaud, who won Day 2, saw his podium hopes slip away after a crash in Special 4. He finished 4th, as he did in 2024.
  • Jérémy Tarroux, riding through physical challenges, salvaged 5th place in a difficult edition.
  • Highlights in the entry list included Antoine Meo riding a 2010 Husqvarna WR125. Pleasing the crowd as ever, Meo finished inside the top 20 overall.
  • Mr Dakar, Stéphane Peterhansel, was also on the entry list riding the same bike which he won with 1995. Now approaching 60, the multiple Trèfle winner had not competed since the 2016 anniversary edition but came home in 57th.
  • The women’s race was exciting this year with Rieju Factory Racing rider Rosie Rowett and French rider Elodie Chaplot fighting a duel. At 33, Chaplot claimed her first Trèfle victory ahead of Rowett who had a big crash on day two which cost her. Lorna Lafont finished third in the Women’s category.
