New British Enduro Team MotoFit Racing – Jed Etchells on a Sherco in E3
MotoFit Racing Team has officially launched itself with a four-rider line-up including former Junior World Champion Jed Etchells on a Sherco for EnduroGP and British Enduro Championship 2026.
A project that’s been in the making for a very long time, says MotoFit Racing team boss Tom James who is a rider but also a former professional rugby player now with over a decade experience training enduro and motocross riders to “get fitter, faster and stronger”. Those riders have included some of the Britain’s best like Jed Etchells, Nathan Watson, Jamie and Daniel McCanney on riding and fitness training programmes.
Created to support young riders in a professional environment, giving them the opportunity to compete on a world stage — something they say can sometime be lacking in the UK – MotoFit Racing’s 2026 rider line-up is headed by former World Junior and British Enduro Champion, Jed Etchells.
Jed was up for grabs this season and will take on a more senior role, amid a team of junior riders, as he moves to E3 class on the Sherco SE 300 two-stroke. He is joined by Roan Delaney, Bobby Moyer, Kit Szabo with support from Sherco Uk and Marsh Powersports.
“Having Jed Etchells in the team brings invaluable experience and leadership, helping guide and support our younger riders,” says James, “while also keeping him sharp and pushing him forward in the EnduroGP class — something he proved in 2023 when he became Junior World Champion.
“He will take on a slightly different role, being the more senior and experienced rider but the emphasis is very much on the team and developing each rider to become better versions of themselves.”
MotoFit Racing are heading out to Spain this week for winter testing ahead of the first round of the 2026 British Enduro Championship on March 28-29, the Jack Frost Enduro in Rhayader, Wales.
