The 2026 British Extreme Enduro Championship kicks off this weekend with the Ballbreaker, round one at Hapton – Mario Roman set for debut with new bike and MR74 Racing Team along with the best of UK riders.
Set on an expansive open moor on the hills between Burnley and Blackburn, Lancashire, round one of the 2026 ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship arrives under new management for the whole series with Wayne Braybrooke and RAW Enduro.
Headline act at this round will be Mario Roman and his new MR74 Racing Team debuting on the independent bike (Husqvarna TE300) after almost a decade with factory Sherco.

Hard Enduro World Championship riders like Billy Bolt and Mani Lettenbichler have routinely raced the UK extreme races in past years, but it will be a first for Mario as he debuts his new set-up along with Francesc Moret (Rieju), who is also trading Spanish weather for Northern England in the winter...
Plews Tyres are a main sponsor to the British Extreme Enduro series and also the MR74 Racing Team – we hope they have packed their best tyres for mud.
