Dante Oliveira Crowned 2025 AMA National Hare and Hound Champion
A podium result at the final round of the AMA National Hare and Hound Series in Lucerne Valley, California, was enough for FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Dante Oliveira to be crowned the 2025 Pro Class champion.
After posting another consistent ride at round nine, second position on the day behind Zane Roberts meant Dante Oliveira delivered FMF KTM Factory Racing the 2025 AMA National Hare and Hound Championship on the back of a sixth-straight AMA National Grand Prix Championship (NGPC) title.
Nine podium finishes and two round victories contributed to Oliveira’s Hare and Hound title run this year, although it hasn’t been easy with Zane Roberts, Daemon Woolslayer, and Tyler Lynn all taking race wins. Consistency has proved key for Oliveira who strung wins and second places together.
Dante Oliveira: “I wanted to get a win here to close out Hare and Hound because I had quite a few P2s this year, but to get the title is the most important thing! I got a pretty good start, and all-in-all it was a good day – I rode smoothly there in behind first place. I felt great on the bike, the whole team was amazing in getting me ready to battle, and together we have a lot of confidence. To lock up this championship feels awesome, and it wasn't an easy one to come by. Consistency was our goal entering the season in the desert this year, and I think we executed that well, so I am stoked!”
