2024 EnduroGP World Championship results from the Friday Super Test in Romania where TM Racing’s Matteo Cavallo mastered the grass to post fastest time ahead of Sherco’s Zach Pichon and Josep Garcia on the Red Bull KTM.

EnduroGP Rnd3, Bacau, Romania in a nutshell:

  • Getting the GP of Romania off to an impressive start on a more flowing than usual AKRAPOVIC Super Test, Italian Matteo Cavallo clocked the fastest time of the evening.
  • The fast-paced grassy course, complete with a mixture of man-made obstacles and natural elevation changes, got riders up to speed for the weekend with the time attacks.
  • Behind TM Racing’s talisman on the night, Sherco’s Zach Pichon came close to matching Cavallo but was still just over half of a second shy to finish runner-up.
  • As the last riders to take to the start, Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Steve Holcombe and Red Bull KTM’s Josep Garcia went head-to-head.
  • For the first time this season Garcia was forced off top spot and had to settle for third while Holcombe had a get-off to finish six seconds off the pace in 22nd – the times were tight!
  • Beta Factory Racing’s Brad Freeman took fourth, with GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona completing the top five in EnduroGP.
  • The Junior class saw Team Beta Oxmoto’s Leo Joyon set the fastest time. Behind the Frenchman, Fantic Racing Team’s Kevin Cristino and Axel Semb were second and third.
  • Manuel Verzeroli (Off Road Pro Racing) set the pace in Enduro Youth once more this season ahead of Atomic Moto Beta’s twin brothers Maxime and Clement Clauzier completed the top three.
