Results, video and rundown of everything that happened on day two of the EnduroGP of Portugal, round four of the 2026 Enduro World Championship, where Zach Pichon was fastest, claiming his first overall victory.
Day 2 in a nutshell:
- Once again, conditions were hot for the second day of enduro in Fafe and, with the tests already broken from yesterday, dust played a major role.
- But the real star of the day was Zach Pichon, who was able to take the fight to his rivals and stay mistake-free throughout the day to claim his first overall victory and put TM back on the top step of the EnduroGP podium, something that had not happened since Wil Ruprecht was racing for them in 2022.
- Second place went to Josep Garcia, who did not have the pace we are used to seeing from him today and had to settle for the E1 victory. Even so, the KTM rider keeps the golden plate and a healthy points cushion over second place.
- Steve Holcombe was able to shake off yesterday’s frustration, when his Sherco left him stranded again in the final test of the day, and took third overall while returning to the top step of the E3 podium.
- The battle for fourth place was tight today between Brad Freeman and Andrea Verona. With everything still to play for in the final test, both made mistakes and dropped away from the leading times, but it was the Beta rider who finished fourth, 0.99s ahead of Verona.
- In Junior, Leo Joyon claimed the first overall victory of his career, as well as giving Triumph its first victory in the Enduro World Championship. Kevin Cristino was second and Manuel Verzeroli third.
- Pietro Scardina continued his domination in Youth, taking victory with 52s in hand over Valentin Mersin and 1m28s over Yago Domínguez.
- In Women, Rachel Gutish continued her domination, and the more than 45s she put into second-placed Shelby Turner is proof of that. Marine Lemoine achieved her best result to date with third.
