Grassroots Enduro Australia’s second Hard Enduro round of the 2021 season landed in Victoria and lived up to its Kozi Killer name with a brutal four-hour race which saw Wade Ibrahim taking the overall win.

Based just outside Corryong, Victoria, the Kozi Killer transformed the local venue to host over 200 riders for what turned out to be a tough two days of action.

An “arduous” prologue course featured a vertical wall, logs and tyres for days which proved very tricky for some riders on Saturday as they attempted to set a qualification time.

The Junior race followed the prologue and saw 16 entrants tackle the same course with youngster Kogan Lock took first place.

Sunday’s four-hour main race format ran over a much longer course taking an average of two hours per lap which still featured the prologue obstacles at the start of each lap. Wade Ibrahim clocked the most laps and took the win ahead of Ruben Chadwick.

The course was no walk in the park…
