Can Cody Webb put a Yamaha on top of the US Hard Enduro series box? Find out this week as the infamous King of the Hammers event sets itself up in Johnson Valley, California.

Victory last year kickstarted a solid run for Cody Webb in the series but FMF KTM’s Trystan Hart came on strong as the season progressed, coinciding with Webb picking up injuries, and the Canadian went on to claim the series title.

King of the Motos is the bike category at the giant off-road event and is the traditional start to the US hard enduro season.

Format changes for KOM ‘25

Race one on Saturday will betwo consecutive laps using time correction. Lap one will be approx. 11 miles and lap two will be 11.2 miles with the start in waves of classes every two minutes. Qualifying will set your start position for Sunday’s race. All racers must make one checkpoint on Sunday.

Sunday will be four laps with the start in waves of 10-20 riders. Lap one will be eight miles, lap two will be 10 miles, and lap three will be 12 miles, and lap four will be 12 miles on the same course as lap three with an added finish line feature.

That race was epic in ’24 with Webb and Hart fighting to the final flag. With Webb now on the Yamaha YZ250, can he put it on the podium yet again?
