The Italian Federation, organising club, and the FIM reveal details about the 99th edition of the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Bergamo, Italy this August including daily routes and live TV coverage.

Landing in the Bergamo region for the third time – the first in 1968 (43rd edition), 1986 (61st edition) and 2025 for the penultimate of the historical event’s centenary, this year’s Six Days promises to be another classic.

Set in one of the heartlands of our sport, the Press Conference saw the President of Motoclub Bergamo, Giuliano Piccinini, describing the setting for the ISDE as a jewel of the Lombardy Region thanks to its valleys, lakes, and mountains.

1300 kilometres planned out

“It was not easy to map out one thousand three hundred kilometers of routes.” Explains Piccinini. “For one day of competition, we involve between thirty and thirty-five municipalities, and obtaining all the necessary permits is certainly not simple. Regarding the routes, the race will initially take place in Val Cavallina and Val Calepio, and from mid-event onward, it will shift to Val Seriana.”

Paddock and administration at Fiera di Bergamo

Unlike 2024, the ’25 ISDE will be “100% outdoors” explain the organisers who have planned all along to take over 70,000 square metres of Fiera di Bergamo, a large conference facility, a very short distance to both the historic city centre and the airport.

It should be big enough to cope with 700 entries in 225 teams and 33 nationalities...

Day-by-day plan – three different maps planned

As is pretty standard, the days are split into three routes with days one and two the same, day three new, and days four and five the same (see maps below).

After the opening ceremony in Bergamo city, race days one and two begin with six special tests across two laps in the valleys Cavallina and Calepio. Day three, in “3 Valli” (also a well-known cycling route) has five specials on one, long lap. While days four and five will see riders face the Serian Valley and seven special tests.

The final Cross Test planned at Covo MX track (aka MXE.45), around 30km away from the paddock.

Live TV coverage

As last year there is a plan in place for FIM.TV to broadcast live at the ISDE. Building on the 2024 coverage from Spain, the plan is to release a paddock each race day morning plus a live studio show which, last year, proved successful with Paul Malin speaking directly to the protagonists as they came in off their bikes at Parc Ferme. The final Cross Test will also be broadcast live.
