Lake Päijänne 2026: Watch 700km Finnish Classic Enduro Live
The legendary Päijänne Enduro, taking place this weekend for the 90th time, one of the oldest motorcycle competitions in the world and most traditional enduro events in Finland will be broadcast live.
The “Paitsi” 2026, which has also been part of the World Championship series for two years, starts on Saturday morning and ends on Sunday afternoon. The schedule for the race this year is 700 kilometres as riders circumnavigate Lake Päijänne (Google it and see how big it is) and will include 27 special tests, which can total upwards of five hours of timed specials.
This year the race can be followed live online and is broadcast by the same TV company who broadcast the World Rally Championship. Finnish Yle will televise the event throughout its entire duration. The broadcast will feature live footage from all of the special tests, and the studio expert commentators will include Juha Salminen.
Saturday’s live broadcast begins at 8:00 in the morning and continues until 22:00 in the evening local time. On Sunday the broadcast again starts at 8:00 and runs until the afternoon, approximately 17:00. The broadcast can also be watched free of charge outside Finland.
