2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship makes a fresh stop at the Belgrade Arena in Serbia for the fifth round of the 2026 season – Billy Bolt cementing healthy championship lead but expect fireworks as Ash Brightmore and Mani Lettenbichler return.

Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and located at the confluence of two powerful rivers – the Sava and the Danube – and has a rich history which will be added to this weekend as the SuperEnduro World Championship comes to town.

Already stacking up a near perfect season, Billy Bolt is well on course towards the record-equalling sixth world title with his 61-point lead. There are three rounds left but we are on course for another heroic home crowd celebration for Billy at round six in Newcastle.

Things remain hot for the podium places with Jonny Walker on 188, Mitch Brightmore on 169 and Eddie Karlsson on 153 points respectively. It’s been a competitive year this year so far for all these guys and a consistent run for the remainder of the season could see anyone of them place runner-up to Bill.

It’s a season which has seen many different riders on the podium, including Josep Garcia at those early rounds (before he resumed EnduroGP training), and it could well see another mix-up this weekend as Ashton Brightmore returns from injury and Mani Lettenbichler since becoming a dad.

It was an injury sustained in a calamitous final moto at the opening round where the younger Brightmore brother cost his brother and potential podium and put himself out for three rounds with a rash, first lap mistake. The X-Grip Racing team will be drumming in the same mantra older brother Mitch was utilising on his way to the podium at round four…
