Motorcycling was plunged into mourning for the second time in as many weeks with the passing of top motocross rider Steven Lenoir on Monday June 5.
The Frenchman died following a crash during qualifying at Cassel, in France — a race held in the in memory of Tim Potisek, which he had won in 2015.
It is reported that Lenoir crashed during practice and was airlifted to hospital in Lille where it was later confirmed that he passed away.
In 2015 he won the MX2 British Championship and is currently second overall in the British MX1 championship.
The 25 year-old French rider had also won the European Motocross Championship in EMX2 in 2010.
enduro21.com offer our sincere condolences to Lenoir’s family and friends during this difficult time.
