Tarroux, Larrieu and Bellino top the standings at round three of the French Enduro Championship in Bar Sur Seine.
Marking the midway point in the 2017 French enduro series, Bar Sur Seine saw trio of riders Jeremy Tarroux, Loic Larrieu and Mathias Bellino take a clean sweep of victories in their respective Enduro 1, Enduro 2 and Enduro 3 categories.
Once again proving the rider to beat in his home series, Sherco mounted Tarroux led home the Enduro 1 class. Behind him, Yamaha’s Julien Gauthier placed as runner-up both days.
The third step of the podium was disputed between Jeremy Miroir (Husqvarna) and Jeremy Carpentier (Yamaha) with a third place a piece — Sunday’s result going to Carpentier.
In the Enduro 2 category Larrieu proved unstoppable. Maintaining his unbeaten run of form, Larrieu won both days of racing. Pierre Vissac (Beta) and Jeremy Joly (Beta) completed the top three.
Enduro 3 saw the return of Bellino to the championship fray having missed out on the previous rounds due to injury. With some closely fought battles between KTM’s Christophe Nambotin, Bellino claimed a double win in Bar Sur Seine.
Despite his best efforts, Nambotin didn’t have a complete answer for Bellino and had to settle for second each time out. Romain Dumontier (Yamaha) completed the top three.
The series now moves on to Requista for round four on September 16/17.
