2018 WESS champion Billy Bolt, signs up for his second shot at the Weston Beach Race, October 18-20, 2019.
Enduro star Billy Bolt will take on the Weston Beach Race for a second year in a row over the weekend of October 18-20, 2019. Following WESS round six at Hawkstone Park and round seven at the BR2 Enduro Solsona, Bolt will head back to the home to race the most prestigious beach race in the UK.
On his first attempt in 2018, Bolt placed himself third and collected the best rookie award at the race. In such an event where tactics and experience play a big part, the Husqvarna rider will use all his knowledge from the previous year to better effect second time around.
“I’m really excited to be coming back to the Weston Beach Race." Exaplins Bolt. "I really enjoyed the race and the whole event last year. I think it’s great that so many people are involved; so many riders, so many spectators, and it’s a really great event for the UK scene.
“By finishing on the podium at my first attempt at the race last year I went way beyond my expectations so I obviously would like to match or improve that, but I think it will be a bit more difficult this year.” Admitted Billy.
RHL Activities, the organizer of the race, is already head on to get the 2019 Weston Beach Race going which is expected to attract over 1.000 riders for Sunday’s main race. With quads, sidecars, juniors and solos racing on the beach and multiple off-track entertainment activities there will be plenty of things to see and do at this year’s race.
