Mario Roman has won the 2018 Gordexola Xtreme race in northern Spain, ahead of Pol Tarres and Josu Artola.

Just eight riders finished the 2018 Gordexola in the tough, three day event. Roman won the Friday night prologue race and followed it up with victory in the nearly five hours long Saturday race.

On day three the Sherco Factory Racing rider ran home a clear (39mins) winner, again ahead of Pol Tarres.

Jaume Soler’s movie shows footage from the final climbs on day three and how the rain made the going the treacherous. Check Pol Tarres' throttle to the stop attack on hill climb as the rain falls. Full gas.
