Placing 12th overall on ISDE Day Three, young British talent Dan Mundell was one of the standout performers of the day with his 125 KTM two-stroke singing on all the special tests in France.

The teenager was really ripping it up, absolutely screaming his smoker around the grass tests. Mixing world class riders, ISDE rookie Mundell finished fourth fastest in the Enduro 1 class, one place ahead of Ryan Sipes, while ending his day 12th overall.

"I clicked it up a gear today and shocked myself a little," told Mundell. "I got fourth scratch on one of the tests and even beat Nambotin - so that was nice.

"For the next few days I just plan on taking it steady, conserve my energy and then try crank it up for the tests."

There is nothing quite like a 125 being ridden well and Mundell certainly knows how to get the best out of his machine - music to our ears and a joy to watch.

We saw Dan earlier this year when he was one of our Local Focus featured riders. Since then he’s gone on to have a stellar season, currently leading the 125 category of the European Enduro Championship and now representing Great Britain’s Junior World Trophy team in France.

We are looking forward to seeing how the rest of his week goes.
