2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica & Benavides Factory Edition
First look at the 2027 450 Rally Replica, available in limited numbers from July and joined by an exclusive Factory Edition, Luciano Benavides replica.
This factory-derived model has been the go-to customer bike for Dakar riders since, well, since it became a reality close to a decade ago.
Available in limited numbers each year, built to order in Mattighofen, they are a highly prized bike most used by non-factory riders in rally-raid events around the world. Check the results and entry lists at the Dakar and see how many people outside the factory teams are racing KTMs.
There’s a reason for that. They are literally race-proven and tested. Direct descendants from the Red Bull KTM Factory Rally Team and therefore about as fit for purpose as you will find any off-road motorcycle. So much so the other manufacturers look on with envy and come of them, belatedly, are emulating KTM with rally race bikes for customers.

As in previous model years, the 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica components, performance and settings filter directly from competition. Like every year it will also be available in limited numbers (104 we understand) and to commemorate KTM’s last-gasp victory at the 2026 Dakar with Luciano Benavides, you also have an option to try and get your hands on one of eight a Red Bull liveried KTM 450 Rally Replica Luciano Benavides Factory Editions.
Both models are available to order now at KTM dealers, with respective retail prices in the UK (not yet known in other countries).

Bike details
At the heart of the 2027 KTM 450 Rally Replica is the 450cc fuel-injected SOHC engine, with a six-speed gearbox and Brembo hydraulic clutch with rally specific gearing, and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust system.
The chassis is built around a hydro-formed, laser-cut and hand-welded frame with WP PRO Suspension front and rear, dual radiators, 23mm off-set CNC-machined triple clamps, tapered handlebars, Brembo brakes, and three fuel tanks totalling 34.5litres capacity. The carbon-fibre navigation tower also allows for digital roadbook.
NB: Unfortunately the press information from KTM for this new model is incredibly fact-lite. We’ll endeavour to unearth some details.
Safe to say it looks good though doesn’t it? The idea to make the Rally Replica mimic the KTM enduro/off-road model range is a strong one we think. The new orange plastics get the thumbs up from us.

Rally Replica Edition
The KTM 450 Rally Replica Luciano Benavides Factory Edition goes a step further with the most obvious difference being the full Red Bull KTM livery, ensuring that the bike looks even more like its decorated Dakar sibling.
Other features include factory carbon brake disc protector, Selle Dalla Valle seat and the ‘LE’ special edition numbered emblem on the frame.
As in 2025, the title-winning Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Team will be guests of honour on the 2026 KTM Adventure Rally (bringing their race truck) to Perugia in Italy during early September.
The annual gathering is already fully subscribed but KTM 450 Rally Replica Luciano Benavides Factory Edition customers will have the VIP treatment with a handover by the Dakar champion as well as a signed race jersey and on-the-ground support from the race team for the riding days.
