Beta has revealed their 2024 300 RX two-stroke model adapted from the RR enduro bike as raced in EnduroGP but redesigned and adapted for motocross and cross-country racing.

Since releasing this model in 2021 to the USA only, the 300 RX has gained popularity worldwide to the point where Beta is now reaching out further to different markets. The bad news it a limited production run means you’ll have to work harder to get your hands on one!

The 300 RX is adapted for moto from the enduro bikes and features a two-position map switch with adjustable power valve, electric start, KYB suspension front and rear, and fresh graphics.

2024 300 RX highlights:

  • Kayaba (KYB) rear shock, closed-cartridge 48mm front fork with internal valving exclusive to the RX, both fully adjustable
  • Billet aluminium foot pegs, extra wide with stainless steel gripper pins
  • Translucent 9.5 litre (2.5 US Gal) fuel tank for easy viewing of fuel level
  • Machined triple clamps with six handlebar positions
  • Electric start, lithium battery and option for back-up kick starter
  • ZF Rear Sprocket with anodized aluminium core and steel teeth sold as an accessory on most models but standard on the RX
  • Gripper seat cover with push button release system, no need for tools to change out the air filter
  • Anodised black shift lever and rear brake pedals
  • Red billet aluminium chain tensioners in
  • Blue Excel wheels
  • Michelin Starcross tyres
  • (USA prices $9399 plus delivery – no prices for Europe/ROW currently available)

Naturally these are MX-spec bikes so are fitted with a 19” rear wheel but as an adaptation of the enduro bike Brad Freeman is racing in the Enduro World Championship, it also runs the six-speed gearbox.

Beta say their engineers worked for “more than two years” developing the new 300’s power delivery and has the two-position map ignition and an adjustable power valve that works independently from the map switch that allows you to tune a power delivery by as much as 30%. The motor sports a Keihin 38mm carburettor along with the V-Force reeds.

Other details include six-position handlebar adjustment (front to back), Silicone cooling hoses, plated exhaust, billet aluminium chain adjuster blocks, an oil filler plug, push button seat removal with a quick access air filter, gripper seat cover, and a dual material rear sprocket for durability. Nissin brakes front and rear mated to Galfer wave-style brake discs.

The chassis is also based on the enduro models but we have few details on the exact changes for MX.

New colours and updated graphics complete the package for 2024. Every 300 RX comes with an Acerbis matching moto stand in the US.
