All you need to know about the 2025 Hixpania Hard Enduro this weekend in Spain – round four of the world championship season September 20-21, race schedule and live broadcast details.

Aguilar de Campoo in Spain will again play host the Hard Enduro World Championship this weekend and the fourth round of the 2025 season. This being the ninth edition of 24MX Hixpania Hard Enduro in Northern Spain makes it the longest-running HEWC round and the only one on Spanish soil in the northern, central area, about an hour south of Santander.

All eyes on the Letti and Bolt show

Over 160 riders from 22 countries will line up across two classes: Caballeros (PRO) and Hixpanos (amateurs).

Riding for the famous Hixpania sword trophy, all eyes will be on Billy Bolt and Mani Lettenbichler for a repeat performance of their battle in Abestone Hard Enduro, two weeks ago.

Signalling he was back at peak form, Bolt took the win in Italy and comes to Hixpania as the 2024 winner. Lettenbichler meanwhioe will want revenge for both Abestone but also a painful end to his world championship last year in Spain. Mani won the world title last year at Hixpania but hat to fight hard through the pain barrier following a crash during the race.

Expect Mitch Brightmore to aim higher than in Abestone too, despite the solid result of a podium. The X-Grip Racing rider might have been third but was lapped by Bolt and Lettenbichler and needs to bring more of a challenge this weekend.

Former winner Mario Roman also needs step up and bring the fight to the leading duo. The Sherco rider has looked good this year but routinely starts on the back foot at the major races, often through below-par qualification. The Spaniard will want to make amends for a bad results at round three due to a bike issue in front of his home crowd.

Live coverage

The organisers claim the 2024 Hixpania drew over 10,000 fans to the venue with a rowdy audience witnessing the final hillcimb section in the quarry area where the race finishes at the top.

The 2025 race will stream live on Enduro Life Media’s YouTube channel, a first for the new promoters and the ’25 series as it picks up the pieces and attempts to drive the world championship forwards.

There is no city prologue event this year in the streets of Aguilar de Campoo. Instead riders face qualification runs on the Saturday to set times for start order (inside the infamous cave) on Sunday.
