2025 EnduroGP World Championship round seven results from Germany where Red Bull KTM’s Josep Garcia has sealed back-to-back overall world titles as season wraps up in dramatic fashion – Andrea Verona, Axel Semb, Romain Dagna, Rachel Gutish and Lorna Lafont all crowned champions.

EnduroGP of Germany Day 2 in a nutshell:

A crisp Autumn day dawned on day two of the 2025 German EnduroGP in Zschopau. Conditions were easier but still hard work on these tough tests and it was a day which meant mental and physical resolve to the final test as many world titles went to the wire.

If the sunlight in the trees looked orange, then perhaps it was reflecting off the Red Bull KTM of Josep Garcia who has sealed back-to-back EnduroGP World Championships with second place today.

GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona did all he could to hold his slim chances of the overall title above the water by taking the final day win.

The Italian Verona has simply met a rider on top of his game this season in Garcia, although he has to be content with the E2 world crown , his eighth career world championship no less as he eyes a move across to KTM for 2026.

Fresh off his E3 world crown yesterday, Hamish Macdonald ended his year with an overall podium along with his 11th class win (from 14) this season as the Kiwi looks to jump back on the 300 SEF Sherco next year.

Similarly Max Ahlin and Jeremy Sydow ended their seasons with a flourish to complete the top five. The German, Sydow, taking a popular E1 podium next to Garcia on home soil but Ahlin, the outgoing Junior champion, was equally impressive on his first season in the senior ranks.

Junior class nail biter

This year’s Junior overall result was a nail-biter after the points leader coming into the German GP, Kevin Cristino, crashed out yesterday and handed the advantage back in favour of Fantic teammate, Axel Semb. Cristino dug deep for the win today but the Italian falls just short with for a result with all the hallmarks of some of Fantic Racings team manager Alex Salvini’s tearful final rounds in seasons gone by.

Semb meanwhile had plenty of tears of his own with an emotional second place today to take home the Junior overall world trophy, adding yet another young Swedish rider to the list of future EGP championship contenders.

Youth 125 new french champ

Meanwhile the growing presence of the French youngsters in the world championship also produced a new champion in Romain Dagna. The new Youth 125 title holder gives KTM Pro Racing team the gold medal for the second year in succession.

America’s first lady of enduro

With nearest rival, Francesca Nocera, a non-starter this morning, Rachel Gutish was already the USA’s first-ever World Enduro Champion before she fired up her Rieju. But if you needed proof of her deserving the trophy then look no further than the gap she has on teammate Rosie Rowett in second today: 2:05.00.

It was an unbelievable margin and befitting of a world champion who headed a Rieju one-two with Rowett also in the series with the Spanish team.

Junior Women inseparable

The Enduro Junior Women’s inaugural world title could not have been closer. Libby Tett and Lorna Lafont have been the standout riders all year and ended the series with exactly the same number of wins and second places to finish on the same points.

Liska owns Open class

The new European Enduro Champion Roland Liska was again the rider well in charge of the Open class for a scratch victory and in fact has won every round he has entered this year for the unofficial scratch “championship” and Open 2T World Cup. We think Brazilian Patrik Capila had already won the Open 4T title at the previous round as did Rudy Cotton in the Seniors.
