Spanish enduro team WP Èric Augé has signed Albin Elowson to race the 2024 FIM EnduroGP World Championship in E2 class on a Husqvarna FE 350, plus select national races in Spain and at home in Sweden.

WP Eric Auge’s empire continues to grow its international line-up with Swedish rider Albin Elowson joining Jaume Betriu in the senior ranks of the Spanish-based team.

Renowned for harvesting home talent, as well as holding strong connections to the KTM Group factory race department, Elowson’s addition to WPEA will also boost the numbers of Husqvarna’s in EnduroGP.

Elowson will compete in Enduro 2 aboard the Husqvarna FE 350 which he’s been familiarising himself with and adapting to in recent weeks at the WPEA headquarters in Oliana.

This weekend sees the first competitive outing for Albin in WP Eric Auge colours as they head to Antas to race in the first round of the 2024 Spanish Enduro Championship.

The Swedish rider boasts an impressive sporting record with a list of achievements that includes eight national championships (five in enduro and three in cross-country), as well as victories in prestigious events such as the Novemberkåsan and the Gotland Grand National, where he has claimed three wins in each.

The signing of the Swede bolsters WP Eric Auge’s stature and competitiveness on the international circuit with a team consisting Albin in E2, Betriu in E3, Sam Davies, Juan Pablo Clericus, and Inbar Zelinger in Junior 1, Albert Fontova in Junior 2, and Raul Sánchez for the first time in the Youth category.
