EnduroGP of Wales: Rnd 4 of 2025 Entry List and schedule
The 2025 FIM EnduroGP World Championship sparks back into life this weekend with the Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales in Rhayader – full rider entry list and four-day race schedule helps you plan your weekend.
Gearing up for the Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales this weekend, August 1-3? A packed rider entry list and schedule has been announced for round four of the 2025 world enduro championship season which kick-starts a busy couple of months in enduro, signalling the summer break is over.
The weekend schedule at the Rhayader-based GP will again begin on Thursday where riders take to the training track before the competitor convoy or parade through the town centre, giving fans the chance to see the world’s best up close.
Friday August 1 sees the live Team GB and Team Wales ISDE rider presentations, the official opening ceremony, and the spectacular Super Test under the lights on the Cwmythig Hill, right next to the paddocks and trade area (see map above).
Saturday is race day one, with fans encouraged to head over to Saintswell for the test action throughout the day on the Enduro and Extreme tests. The riders will tackle three laps including through local Welsh forests, notably now also the Abbeycwmhir and Red Lion forestry, back around to the Cwmythig hill paddock where the Cross test is also staged.
The paddock main bar will be open from 2pm each day, with the same timings across the weekend to ensure fans can enjoy food, drinks, and the atmosphere throughout the event.
Daily podiums in the afternoon for each class will be followed by live music in the main bar in the evening at the Cwmything paddock.
Sunday will see a repeat on the tests for the riders followed by the after party to celebrate an epic three days of racing.
Focus on the fast boys
Following an action-packed Round 3 in Sweden, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia leads the overall EnduroGP standings on 109 points, with GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona close behind on 95 points, and TM Boano Factory Racing’s Zach Pichon sitting third with 91 points.
Fans can expect a fight from more than the top three here though with plenty of local knowledge and recent form making it easy to point at Sherco teammates Hamish Macdonald and Antoine Magain, Beta’s Nathan Watson, Triumph Racing’s Mikael Persson, Honda’s Samuele Bernadini and Triumph Italy’s Morgan Lesiardo. As ever the fight for the E1, E2 and E3 podiums will be every bit as interesting as for the overall.
Nocera flying in Women’s GP class
The GP of Wales weekend also marks the return of the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship and Junior Women’s World Cup. Italian Francesca Nocera leads the way but eyes will be on the home ladies Nieve Holmes and Rosie Rowett, along with American Racheal Gutish currently second in the standings.
They will be joined by the new Junior Women’s World Cup which sees home heroine Libby Tett in charge. Add also the ranks of Open classes riders and we have interest from the top to the bottom of the entry list.
