First look: 2025 TM Boano Factory Team EnduroGP Lineup
The 2025 TM Boano Factory EnduroGP World CHampionship team has officially been revealed – Zach Pichon joins Matteo Cavallo in the senior squad with Manuel Verzeroli in the Juniors and GP winner Alberto Elgari goes again in Youth category.
The 2025 EnduroGP will see a few notable changes of personnel as international riders comes and go or change teams. That’s nowhere more true than the official TM Boano Factory race squad who welcome Zach Pichon and Manuel Verzeroli. Both new boys will notr only switch to TMs but also new bikes with the Frenchman and former Junior winner going from 250 two-stroke to a 300 4T, while reigning 125 champ Verzeroli makes the jump to 250 two-stroke.
Added to Matteo Cavallo, that makes three of the four riders former or current world champions in the Italian manufacturer’s official team which is run by the hugely experienced Jarno Boano.
This weekend also sees the start of the Assoluti d’Italia Enduro, Italian Enduro Championship, in Colliano where many of the world championship riders get back into the groove after the European winter and ahead of an April start to the world championship season.
“The winter break went by too quickly!” Says Jarno. “However, we managed to work well and we are confident for a good start to the season. The choice of riders for this year was made from two perspectives: having two established riders in two of the three EnduroGP classes and then two young riders who are growing strongly, one in the Junior class and one in the Youth.”
“Matteo Cavallo, third in E3 in 2024, was confirmed in the same class always with the TM 300 2T FI. The bike has undergone several updates and also in Matteo’s winter preparation several things have changed. I see Matteo calm and charged to start the new season.”
“For the E2 class we have chosen Zach Pichon [who was] sixth overall in the 2024 EnduroGP. Zach immediately appreciated our TM 300 4T and seemed to immediately feel at ease. The feeling is growing and I see him very motivated.” Adds Boano.
“Manuel Verzeroli, Youth World Champion in 2024, was our choice for the Junior class. He will race with the TM 250 2T. Manuel immediately made himself available and interested in our project and proved to be a determined and willing person.” Jarno explains.
For the Youth class, the brand-new TM 125 2T was handed to Alberto Elgari who last year proved to be very competitive in a closely contested category until injury halted his season. “Alberto has great qualities and determination to achieve his goals, after more than six months off the bike, he can’t wait to start.
“Deny Philippaerts, as sports director, has done, together with our technicians, a great job and now we just have to start! Thanks to all the sponsors who will be at our side also for this 2025.”
