FIM World Championship or not, Valleys Hard Enduro goes big with 16K prize money
Valleys Hard Enduro on May 10-11 may (or may not) be part of the 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship but the organisers aren’t holding back with a whopping £16,500 in prize money.
With the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship hanging in limbo still, organisers of the major races on the calendar are still keeping calm and carrying on with their plans including the Valleys Hard Enduro.
Formerly planned as round one of the HEWC series, the race weekend in South Wales is still taking place at the Walters Arena venue and has announced a huge incentive for riders to take part: a £16,500 prize purse.
Saturday sees qualifying and a spectator-friendly knockout-style race next to the paddock and trade and food/drink area.
Sunday’s racing includes a multi-lap Valley’s Lite race for amateurs using some of the same course (not the hard stuff!). That’s followed by the main event which promises big prize money for the podium places and reward stretching back to 12th place.
