2027 Africa Eco Race Rally-Raid across North Africa dates set for 18th edition from January 24 to February 6.

If you’re into “original” rally-raid adventure races, then March 15th in your diary as they date entries open for the 18th edition of the Africa Eco Race. The event which runs from Tangier and Morocco down through the north, west of Africa into Mauritania and a finish at Dakar in Senegal.

The 2025 edition was a successful one and saw Yamaha’s official Tenere team riders dominate the stages and Kevin Gallas run out winner ahead of Gautier Paulin – both in their maiden AER’s.

The event is open to different motorcycle categories including rally 450 bikes, adapted enduro bikes with navigation equipment and adventure bikes, trading can we say on the spirit of original adventure riding of dirt bikes across savannahs, deserts and dunes more than an all-out bike race.

2027 Entry Fees

The 2027 entry fees will be published on March 15 at 12:00PM CET with the launch of pre-registrations. The organisers say that announcement will also include the main updates and developments regarding pricing and race services for 2027.
